Company Description KnoxCET LLC is a full-service electrical contracting company providing high-quality electrical services to residential and commercial clients in Knoxville, TN and the surrounding areas. The team delivers complete solutions for new construction, panel and breaker installation, and upgrades for outlets, switches, and lighting in homes. KnoxCET LLC also handles full electrical build-outs and remodels for commercial properties, including restaurants, retail spaces, factories, and educational buildings. In addition, the company designs and installs electrical systems for health and medical clinics, meeting all relevant health department regulations. KnoxCET LLC is committed to reliable workmanship, safety, and customer-focused service across all projects.
Role Description The Electrician will perform day-to-day electrical work on residential, commercial, and healthcare projects, including installing, maintaining, and repairing wiring, panels, fixtures, and devices. Responsibilities include reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring all work complies with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications. The role involves collaborating with project managers, other trades, and clients, documenting work performed, and maintaining tools, equipment, and materials in good working order. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Knoxville, TN, requiring regular travel to job sites in the local area. The Electrician will also support inspections, testing, and upgrades to existing systems to improve reliability and energy efficiency.
Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, including panels, circuits, lighting, and outlets.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics.
Strong knowledge of NEC, local electrical codes, and safety practices, with a focus on OSHA-compliant work habits.
Experience working on residential and commercial projects; familiarity with healthcare/clinic electrical systems is a plus.
Solid troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, including use of meters, testers, and related tools.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in varying environments.
Valid electrician license or journeyperson certification for Tennessee, or eligibility to obtain; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school training in electrical work is preferred.
Willingness to work standard full-time hours and occasional overtime as project needs require.
