This position supports meetings, conferences, presentations, training sessions, special events, and video-conferencing environments. The technician independently handles routine and moderately complex technical issues and works closely with end users, IT teams, facilities, vendors, and event personnel to ensure reliable and high-quality AV services.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*** Install, configure, test, operate, and maintain audio-visual equipment and systems.* Set up and support projectors, LED/LCD displays, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, cameras, video-conferencing systems, control systems, and related AV equipment.* Provide on-site technical support for meetings, conferences, presentations, training sessions, and special events.* Troubleshoot and resolve audio, video, connectivity, signal, cabling, and equipment-related issues.* Perform preventive maintenance, equipment testing, system checks, and basic repairs.* Configure and operate video-conferencing and collaboration technologies.* Support integration of AV systems with computers, networks, presentation systems, and other IT infrastructure.* Diagnose signal-flow and connectivity problems and identify appropriate corrective actions.* Assist with AV system installations, upgrades, moves, and equipment replacements.* Maintain accurate equipment inventories, service records, configuration documentation, and operating procedures.* Coordinate with vendors and service providers for equipment repairs, installations, and technical support when required.* Provide users with basic training and guidance on AV equipment and systems.* Ensure AV equipment is properly stored, secured, maintained, and available when needed.* Follow established safety procedures and organizational standards during installation, operation, and maintenance activities.* Stay current with emerging AV technologies, standards, and industry best practices.* Perform other related duties as assigned.**Knowledge & Skill Requirements:*** High school diploma or equivalent.* 5+ years of experience in audio/video production.* Strong understanding of audio and video equipment.* Excellent troubleshooting skills.* Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with high-level executives.* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.* Dante Level III (preferred but not required)* CTS (preferred but not required)**Working Conditions:**Works in an office environment as well as regular site visits to buildings and construction sites throughout Atlanta. May require frequent bending, stooping, reaching and prolonged sitting and/or standing.
